About Linda Weltner

Solo violin or with accompaniment, Linda Weltner brings quality repertoire to special events throughout north central Florida.
As a Jacksonville Symphony Masterworks player she shared the stage with artists Sarah Chang, Elmar Oliveira, Christopher Parkening, and conductor Eiji Oue.
Freelance performances include solo events for Governor Lawton Chiles, Senator Bob Graham, and orchestra appearances with Glen Frey of the Eagles and Ray Charles.
Versatile programming ranges from Classical and Romantic pieces to music from Vienna as well as Parisian and Chicago-style jazz.
“Linda’s violin produces the soft, elegant sounds of composers Bach and Mozart as well as the modern, progressive folk/jazz of Bartok. Her expertise has taken her from Romantic and Viennese music to swing and Parisian jazz with upbeat composers such as Jerome Kern and George Gershwin appearing in her program. For corporate reception, private celebration or wedding ceremony, Linda plays solo or is accompanied by another musician on piano, or other strings, creating a specialized program for the listener’s pleasure.”
